Research & Publications
Research is an important addition to our routine tasks as it allows the NIHR Horizon Scanning Centre (NHSC) team and others carrying out early awareness and alert activities to better understand the components of, and methods used in these activities and to learn more about predicting diffusion and impact.
The NHSC has completed research or has research in progress in a number of research themes:
1. Development, marketing, diffusion and impact of new and emerging health technologies
- The role of the pharmaceutical industry in the adoption and diffusion of drugs in the UK (ongoing)
